Needs to be more to do after finishing the story. The world was too small to play around in and the races had no repeat appeal.

Always heard talk that the reason the mainline series never had features like weather is because the lead designer dude was dead against it. No idea if that's true or not.

Cross-gen is a little disappointing but I'm still looking forward to it. Forza Horizon 1 was a lot of fun, I enjoyed it a lot more than the mainline Forza games. On papier it sounds like this'll have a lot of the features folks would want in FH2 even if it is cross-gen.

Damn bottom of the page  , anyway, i'll just get this on 360 I think. I was tempted to get a 'bone for this and Forza 5, but it's as if MS just keep thinking up reasons for me to save money, plus I can use my wheel and pedals. Cruising around France and Italy will be sweet as strawberry float, here's hoping it's not visually toned down to the point of being hellish to play.

Microsoft exclusive being cross gen? Huh. I'd imagine this was part not wanting to trash an already-started 360 version and part Forza 5 going down like a sack of potatoes.

One thing's for certain: its availability for 360 has nulled its status as an Xbone seller. Considering the Microsoft kinda needs Xbone sellers ASAP, it's a very odd decision.

I saw the trailer, that explains it a bit better, cheers!
We've got annual sports games like FIFA, CoD and Assassin's Creed. If you're into your racing then I imagine having a yearly Forza (via two rotating bi-annual games) could also work.

Another one to add to the pile of "If MS are announcing this now, what have they got at E3".

Preview on Tuesday and hopefully some screenshots. Maybe a trailer at E3. Might be a surprise 60FPS on Xbox One

Off to play the 1st one in celebration.

It does make you wonder! All these pre-E3 reveals I'm expecting multiple megatons. Possibly MS's best E3 ever.

The problem with that kind of model is that, as seen with the backlash against Forza 5, people don't like being re-sold the same content over and over again. CoD and AC are at least notionally different in setting, scenarios or time period. Racing games have a lot of the same cars and tracks. Forza has a livery editor so the community will make new NASCAR/F1/Touring car/Rally liveries as they appear, so the kinds of roster updates that sports games claim to justify a new game every year doesn't quite work.

If they're announcing all of the games now only to talk about TV for 2 hours or whatever at their conference then I'm going to be livid. LIVID!

Phil Spencer did promise a few pre-E3 announcements and so far we've had Halo 5, Kinect-less SKU and now this. He's got a lot of pressure on him with expectations rising - I don't imagine rumours of things like Shenmue 3, third party exclusive and Halo 1-4 remakes help his cause  especially if none turn out to be true.

Really enjoyed Horizon, this may be enough to make me get a Xbox One as it means there are a few games I want to play.

The "Festival" crap was the only part of the last game I didn't like. Wish they'd drop that in favour of somthing more like TDU, much classier.

Is the first worth picking up?
