Dont like that Ser Dontos was seen leading Sansa off. Didn't need to show that in the episode.

So glad I've actually read the books. Gives a whole new level of smugness watching the show... and the TV fans risk things being spoiled. I was in shock for days after some of the events in this series (and some things I'm still recovering from).

Do we know if the Kettleblacks will be introduced in Season 4 at any point?

Just started rereading Game of Thrones and was surprised to see that Illyrio apparently worships R'hllor. Literally the second sentence he says in the book is "May the Lord of Light shower you with blessings on this most fortunate day, Princess Daenerys. This seems significant.

It seems unlikely.

Worst bit of the new episode was Cersei out and out stating that Brienne loves Jaime. Far, far too on the nose and completely unnecessary.

I agree with you there taf :fp:

So refresh my memory who doesactually do te deed? The fool? I can't recall.

And also wasn't itSer Illyn who trained with Jaime? I like the guy who plays Bron but he does seem to be doing a lot more than his fair share! AND did Tirion actually try to ship Shae off? How does she end up with tywin then?

All SOS spoilers and maybe beyond.

SOS- In the book Littlefinger gets Dontos to give Sansa a hairnet. Olenna takes a stone (the poison) from the hairnet and puts it in Joffrey's wine.

- Bronn has replaced Ser Ilyn in the show but Ilyn's actor has terminal cancer so that's understandable.

- Tyrion was planning to marry Shae off to some knight but he got arrested before he could. Cersei's spies probably found her.

I've just discovered the (SOS spoilers) "Oberyn poisoned Tywin before he died" and (Dance with Dragons spoilers) "Cersei's High Septon nemesis is actually Howland Reed" theories.

Second clutches at straws somewhat but the first does seem to work and I'm going to treat it as canon from now on. Red Viper

Do you have single fact to back that up? He must be the coolest character going that barely gets a mention.

Crazy theory corner:

Oberyn posioned Tywin.

Howland Reed= High Septon

Not actually the worst theory I've read on the internet. That would be Euron Greyjoy is actually Daario which requires massive amounts of teleportation to work.

I would love it if the Oberyn one is true. I always wondered about Tyrion's line - found his father where he knew he'd find him.

Wonder if anyone has asked George this?

You guys weren't kidding about AFFC. It's not bad but after Swords it's a massive comedown. Yeah after all that pay-off he does almost begin again and has to build things but he could have at least given us one huge event or at least one Tyrion/Danaerys chapter. If I'd have read these on release I would have been furious.

After you've read DWD you'll look back on that post and laugh. The Tyrion and Dany chapters in DWD being so awful are one reason AFFC is better.

Tyrion's are particularly disapointing.

I didn't think Dany had that many?
