Barcelona are trying to sign Koke, so Xavi's move should go through after the World Cup. I think a few players were upset with the direction of the club with a lot of heartache and changes over the last three years - not to mention the court cases and transfer ban. There's a clear-out this summer with Puyol following Cesc, Pinto and Valdes out the door. Alves and Tello could also be leaving. Fabregas was quoted as saying Xavi was "stepping aside" and yesterday Dan Petrescu, Al-Arabi's manager, said he'd signed for them.
I wanted to see him cameo at Man Utd for a season but I reckon he'll be back as Barca coach/boss within three years.
There's a few papers running the story. I think Marca were one of the first to run with it.
