I'm still holding out hope Otto somehow retains a body with spider powers by the end of it. The Jackal's been around recently he can sort out a clone.

I looked around the internet and it seems I'm the only one who noticed or cared there wasn't a Dini/Nguyen story in Detective #27. Never found out the reason why it was missing.

I still don't have my copy but I purposefully checked CBR's review and it makes no mention of it. Yet the solicitation for it never changed. Odd :?

It's not mentioned in any review. I looked on Dini's Twitter too and I couldn't see anything about it.

On this at least I'm sane. Just found this on Dini's Twitter from four days ago:

Paul_Dini wrote:I had to bow out owing to other commitments.

And yet DC kept it in the solicitation.

Original Sin? Or Original Tie-In?

Who is the Watcher? Original Sin, Marvel’s upcoming summer crossover gets a #0 issue in April.

Also in terms of tie ins, we have already heard about All New Invaders, Bendis stated that his X-Men books and Guardians Of The Galaxy will also tie in. Newsarama says that Spider-Man will tie-in but will it be Amazing or… the other Spider-Man book that Slott pretty much confirmed on CBR. Oh and Thor and Amazing X-Men will likely see tie ins too.

Fear Itself mk.2 :dread: :dread: :dread:

Got Detective Comics #27. Shocked at how much of it there is, it's a mini-graphic novel almost

The Snyder story was quality, easily the best part of it.

Yeah Geoff Johns' last Green Lantern issue was the same, it felt very substantial. Speaking of Snyder though here's Nguyen's cover for Batman #28 (the one year later issue):

Newsrama speculates what it means.

DC Comics Confirms Dan Jurgens On Aquaman And The Others

Who would have thought that the New 52 would have a successful Aquaman series that could have it's own spin off title.

Chris Claremont And Todd Nauck On New Nightcrawler Comic?

Image

Now that is interesting. A solo Nightcrawler comic though? Any other time I'd be up for that, but I was looking forward to Amazing X-Men as I'd thought that would be the number 1 place for everything bamf related. Wonder if it's just a mini-series with Kurt "catching up" with the marvel universe as it is now.

Rick Remender @Remender
You won't believe who dies in Uncanny Avengers 17. McNiven just turned in the pages of the death... wow.

Wow it is a Nightcrawler ongoing.

Joining Nightcrawler on his new adventure will be his longtime teammate and drinking buddy Wolverine.

Apparently it was originally going to be X-Men Legacy All New Now but Marvel decided to cash in on the Nightcrawler name instead (x-men legacy must have done gooseberry fool numbers then)

The only praise I ever read for X-Men Legacy is for the covers.

Just saw this from the Newsarama article about the Nightcrawler series:
Claremont says that the change that will hit Kurt the hardest, however, is Kitty Pryde going over to Cyclops's team, which he says appears to be "the 'dark side'." He said that Kurt will see this change as a "fundamental violation of character" for Kitty, with him wanting to know "the truth behind her decision." - See more at: http://www.newsarama.com/20052-chris-cl ... WHAT IF? AGE OF ULTRON sounds good, nothing like that gooseberry fool What If? AvX. Love how it all stems from Wolverine's gooseberry fool decisions

That cover for the Uncanny Avengers is for a story before the current one that has had the deaths, hence the whole team appearing on it.

No Aja on hawkeye again, just the cover :fp: :fp:

Mori are the full DC April solicitations out then?

Justice League Canada has become Justice League United

Image

The change in title came about as a result of Lemire and DC editorial's desire to "expand the scope of the series," which will now touch on "every corner of the DC Universe in one team." The roster currently consists of Stargirl, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Animal Man, Supergirl and Adam Strange -- likely with more to come. Lemire also has plans to introduce a new Cree teenage superheroine based in the area where the new Justice League sets up their base of operations.

While the first arc will focus on the post-"Forever Evil" circumstances that cause the team to shift locations to Northern Ontario, the second arc takes the team to Thanagar for a Hawkman-centric story.

JLA has been totally pointless. Literally only set up to be a tie-in book for Trinity War and Forever Evil. What a waste.

I notice Supergirl isn't a Red Lantern there as well.

And bleeding cool reported this:

Tony S Daniel Off Superman And Wonder Woman – And Relaunching Teen Titans?

To which he has literally just posted on twitter saying it's bollocks.

No idea. I got that Eternal solicitation from IGN. The JLU roster looks good, Animal Man and Adam Strange on the same team brings back good memories of 52.
