Good news.
Just watched the first episode, and yeah, it's still pretty good. Basically still just the spy stuff in a different office. Very LA Confidential feel to it, as well.

No, I believe it's

So 1, I had no idea this had been out for 2 months. 2, 15 minutes into the first episode and I'm already bored as strawberry float.

It's really gooseberry fool. I'm about 5 episodes in and think I've smiled twice.
It feels like one big ego project and just isn't that funny.

It's up on Netflix now, it's definitely down there with Archer Vice quality wise so far.

It's so...slow. Archer was at its best when it was a rapid fire, 60 jokes per second gabbathon. This is not. This is slow, plot heavy cliche. Although it's nice to see/hear Jeffrey Tambor again.
EDIT: The only funny bit so far is the constant "buddum tsssh" at the club, alongside Ray's protestations.

I actually flipped on the last series. Started off hating it then realised it was trying to do something different and ended up liking it. It's not as funny or clever as the first 2 seasons, but it wasn't trying to be.

I was thinking it might be interesting for a future season to do a bit of a timeskip and have Archer himself now running ISIS and AJ is now the secret agent. She is an Archer after all.

Only watched the first episode of the latest season so far so it's too early to judge for me.
What have people got against Archer Vice? Whilst it was different in terms of setting I can't say I noticed any major drop in quality personally.
