To be honest I still haven't decided what I'm doing for my dissertation yet. Well actually I have a good idea, but I'm waiting for approval from a potential supervisor at Uni who I emailed about it 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything since.

Ah, is it just me or are Strathclyde Uni official people really crap at getting back to you? I emailed the Sociology head with my reasons and proof for handing in an essay late(I'd been given a provisional extension on it), and still got 25% knocked off the mark. Still got over 50% on the essay though.

Yeah although there are resits going on at the moment so that may be the reason/excuse. We've still got a month and a bit before we go back anyway so I should have something sorted by then hopefully.

Hmm. My man had no such excuse. I'd have gotten over 60% for my final sociology mark if I hadn't had that massive chunk of the marks taken off, too.

I'm still hoping to go to Bristol but they want me to fax my Access results to them ASAP (last week preferably), but my college won't give me a copy of my results until after they've sorted all the A-level and GCSE ones first
