I am still 3 pikmin seconds off on that. If I get a good run though it's for sure beatable. The only other level I've been trying it collector's room. I will do more though in time. If I get 18+ golds in challenge mode I will be happy.

I tried but I cannot remember/work out how to kill the dudes. I got them to come out like once in an hour but didn't kill them. The way I remembered it was I had purples.

Well one purple throw kills them all but since you don't get any just chuck 2 or 3 reds at the egg, have the rest stood behind you and if they come out whistle constantly whilst throwing. Maybe you are thinking of another level for the purples? I remember getting them once and killing them all with a purple but I was against gadge longlegs I think so got mashed.

I will get first overall when I can be bothered to mong story mode. Might do some today but right now I want the most medals and just absolutely raged another one:

Hawks do this level because you can come second easy. (Not first obv since you are gooseberry fool). The first floor of this has like 2 billion eggs and you get the dudes come out maybe 1/3 times. I once had a sick run where they came out of two eggs next to eachother. I failed to kill many though. Cheers for the info. I was thinking of spamming the egg in anticipation but they don't kill until they hit the ground so I've been waiting like you said. Quite hard to kill enough though. Might try explorer's cave later then but you hardly ever get the buggers from what I have seen.

Siiiick, how many of the gadges did you get? 1 more and you would have broken the 100 pointer.

That was with 3 gadges. So normally a 35060 and then take time to actually find and kill them to so probs a 35065+ if I didn't go for them. I can get more of them too, 3 is low. On green hole I got like 6. I just wasn't really expecting them.

Lol smashed miles on that one. I just played green hole and got 3 eggs with gadges in on the first floor but I have only played the level a couple of times so half my dudes got eaten and I couldnt find the key

Fairly simple level. Strat is:

Floor one: Mong the mother bulborbs asap and get the babies for yourself. Don't carry anything back though. Go around egg hunting for gadges. Kill gadges. Now carry everything else back, key, diamonds, mother bulborbs, circle thing and the crystal or whatever it is. If you have spare time like whilst things are coming back then use it to flower pikmin.

Floor two: Spice spray everyone immediately then dismiss them all. Take the reds up to the big dude, bitter spray him then lob about 3 onto him. Kill any nearby enemies. As he is almost coming out of the rock lob all the rebs on to finish him off but make sure he dies and leaves a carcass. Don't take of this stuff back yet. Run into the middle and get the rest of the pikmin. Leave Louie here though. Go around the edge and carry back and kill as much as you can. Once you run out of pikmin switch to Louie and use him to get the nearby stuff from the start. Leave Olimar on the edge bit, standing near anything you missed or if you got everything near the exit. For speed now it is quicker to use Louie to throw pikmin up out of the pool to Olimar who can then use them. Just get everything in etc.

Going to mong more levels now. I now have the most gold medals again.

Have you tried using the purple spray on the gadges so you can gather your dudes back up for when they unfreeze? Don't know if it works but could do.

Doesn't work on them.
