Hand that ruined my tournament was pocket tens on a T42 flop. Reece (Remi) had J9 and called me when I bet every street. Turn and river are K and Q to give him the straight.

Transferring money from PS to FT and I find out how gooseberry fool our exchange rate has become. At least it means more £ for MTT wins.

Well, I smashed that.

Was chip leader for the entire final table, never dropped below 3/4 million chips. Made about 30% of my stack from stealing.

Only hand I was truly unsure about was (did I miss a value bet?):

Won the freezeout at the Phoenix last night. :mrgreen:

Played pretty solidly apart from losing about 1/3 of my chips (Deep Stack) to Gaz in the 2nd hand :lol:

we then came back to mine afterwards where Gaz managed to reclaim his buy-in for last night by scooping us all at Open Face Chinese. I'm not sure how as Drummy ran really well at this and Narnia was merely a shattered dream for most of us, coming painfully close on a few occasions.

Off to the Grosvenor tonight for another freezeout. Tonight's the night we all scoop the whole tourney. 8-)

Split the pot with a mate as we ran out of time while heads up - £57 each. Can't turn my nose up at that.

I played SO badly until the break - had a couple of bad beats and was so short-stacked. Went outside in the break to calm down with some fresh air, basically downed a double vodka lemonade and came back and played better. Had him all in heads up and he rivered a straight. Then we got kicked out by the student union :lol:

Well that pisses all over my £57 win :roll:

I final tabled all 3 tournies, cashed in 2 and won 1 but got scooped at Chinese Open Face. Today Drummy made up for his session on Sat night/Fri morning by hitting double Narnia and then getting back in Narnia, hitting a double flush in the process. :dread:

DML hit a sick straight flush too.

Awesome weekend. The guys have just left mine to head off home. GG! :mrgreen:

The weekend ended and I didn't make a TOTAL tit of myself. So therefore all in all a successful weekend.
