Same. I thought that showed how good these guys can cut a promo, really finished strong in difficult circumstances. I much prefer Punk as a heel.

Oh one important thing I think that we forgot to discuss from raw this week.

Alicia fox is now a heel again :? That girl has switched from heel to face and back again more times than anyone in the history of pro wrestling.

Also I'm a bit confused about the used of Paul heyman, I can only hope that tere is some storyline planned as he is currently appearing for about 5 secs on each show.

There were 2 posts in here regarding the TNA PPV.

As per usual, I thought the wrestling was of a decent standard. Hardy v Aries at BFG doesn't fill me with hype though. I had my head in my hands cringing at the notion of delaying the BFG series match til Impact.

I only watched No Surrender this morning.

Keep on trollin' Proto. 8-)

Thought it was solid if not spectacular show, AJ/Kurt vs Kaz and Daniels was phenomenal once again and I was actually shocked at the outcome of the BFG series.

Good to see Roode back as well and I'm looking forward to his feud with Storm.

You watched it this morning? You are a pathetic excuse for a TNA mark.

But seriously, why did Hardy win? I thought Bully's name was all over it.

Bully to be revealed as the leader of Aces and Eights tonight then.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter wrote:For Raw this week, the show was written and rewritten so many times that they were printing out the final script of the show after the show had already gone on the air. I was told that the number of edits done the day of the show were unreal. We also heard over the weekend that except for the Bret Hart stuff, nothing was done.

When asked about Devon being let go, Hulk Hogan wrote on Twitter “I’m all over it. Devon is too valuable to ever let him slip away. Huge screw up on somebody’s part.” The comment was promptly removed.

Brilliant.

Couldn't agree more.

Seems like an odd decision to me but maybe Bully was looking too obvious to win so they decided to swerve us. :fp:

I'm also hoping that Bully is too obvious a choice to be the leader of Aces & Eights but it probably will be him.

Can we talk about No Surrender without spoilers now?

Hardy seems like a really odd choice to win the BFG series. As much as I like Aries I would much rather see Roode vs Storm for the title at BFG as that is the match they have been teasing all year. I don't want to see Aries vs Hardy at all (would rather see Aries vs Bully) and I just don't think Roode vs Storm will draw with nothing on the line

Hardy vs Aries is the way it is because Aries has already beaten Bully Ray on Pay Per View this year and TNA still believe Hardy can draw buys if they put him in the main event, also many people are convinced Hardy and Aries will have good chemistry and have a good if not great match.

It sounds like these 'many people' are wrong ;)

Don't worry about Bully Ray, he'll cut a promo on Thursday and look invincible again just like all those other times he lost.

Watching No Surrender has me missing the Claire Lynch story. I think I really enjoyed that despite how bad the acting was.

Currently watching last week's NXT. Slightly uncomfortable hearing the announcers cut to a sombre tone & mood following an attack on Richie Steamboat, & that they're trying to get an update outside of the fact he's receiving medical treatment backstage. Your conventional wrestling angle, but kind of just sticks out watching it this week.

However...

Bryan Saxton: From Nor-witch England, I believe.
William Regal: What?! Norwich you fool.
Bryan Saxton: ...sorry...I tried.
William Regal: NORWICH. Home of Quiz of the Week.

Outstanding.

I'm just watching the rock epic journey wwe special I recorded earlier from sky sports and one thing that puzzles me is how they've forgotten how to allow talent to develop, vince and triple h keep saying in the show that rock was allowed to develop his character, talk freely on the mic etc. stuff that they just don't allow now.

That's the PG-era for you. Everything needs to be heavily scripted. The only exception I can think of in recent years is some Punk promos.
