Legion actually makes a comment about EDI's body being inefficient due to being "top heavy".

Oh, and James is awesome, proof that likeable human sidekicks are possible. Ashley and Kaiden were always complaining about everyting you do. "Why did you recruit all these aliens?" "Have you heard my troubled backstory yet?" "Why did you let X die on Virmire and not me?" "Why did you join Cerberus? You've changed!" "Sorry about the whole Cerberus thing... I think, I think I'll spend most of this game wondering whether or not I trust you rather than actually being supportive." strawberry float off.

Then you meet James, bond, and become best buds day one because you're both fighting for a greater cause and share each others fears. He's also way more supportive.

It's a weird complaint to make, but is anyone else slightly freaked out by the, well by the boobage in this game? Every featured crew member of the female persuasion has massive boobs now, something I definitely can't remember Ash or Liara possessing before. And EDI's rack is ridiculous. It actually takes away from the maturity and gravitas of the context for me somewhat.

Yeah, as someone whose Shep has enjoyed an entirely monogamous relationship with Liara, those puppies came as something of a shock.

I can't comment on Ash as I let her burn on Virmire, the massive racist.

It is very odd and something I noticed! Liara has had a massive boost! As for
EDI
, it's just weird, although it does come from the
Asari assassin early on
. One of my favourite characters do far, I do like Tricia helfer though (BSG).

Miranda is the same model from 2, so still 'top heavy'. Allers seems to be quite reasonable.. Maybe she had a say?

Allers seems to have been modelled on her real life counterpart, which is probably why she looks like a normal woman rather than a supermodel like the rest of the girls on Normandy.

Yeah, but it would not make for much of a game, if James Bond and Commander Shepard joined up the Reapers would gooseberry fool themselves and run away.

The amount of Citadel side quests I've got now with barely any idea where to get the items for them :fp: The quest viewer really is awful.

Ive barely touched the SP. Im addicted to opening boxes in the multiplayer. I got the other krogan and a grenade launcher last night. I want an Asari and a couple of decent weapons. But the big one to get is the Quarian infiltrator. This is becasue with the hack on geths, it makes the challenges alot easier.

All you have to do is scan a lot then randomly walk around the citadel .

That's what I did and it worked.

Hey, snap. I was tempted with Tali, but I made it through. Now, if she'd had massive boobs...

Ugh, apparently, because my first ME runthrough was on a normal difficulty, I'll have to play through Hardcore to even unlock insanity.

Is that the same for ME2? Or will having an Insanity run of ME1 mean I can go straight onto Insanity?

Started a brand new game, no imports and all that gooseberry fool (keeping that for a massive ME trilogy playthrough!).

I chose a standard Earthborn, Ruthless Soldier John Shephard.

I can't stop looking at James' giant neck with a prang of jealously. :fp:

And the TV journalist - I headbutted the bitch. 8-)

Just got the first addition party member. It was obvious who it was when I arrived. Got that sorted, and I've just got past the EDI and her metallic boobies.

So far, I'm really impressed with the grand scale of things.

But less impressed that the Citadel seem to be transformed again. Granted in ME1 you don't really see everything but still...

Also I find that the facial animations of John Shephard to be a bit... strange. It's like poor acting or something. Oh well.

I think you can play it on Insanity after finishing Normal on ME2. I think you can do that in ME1 but I'll need to check this later tonight.

Curiously enough, I found Liara the most 'human' character of the lot, IYKWIM. And where the others were potential flings, she's the one character who felt like proper settle-down-and-make-an-honest-asari-out-of-her material.

I got a mission for a race you don't encounter until the later game. Was told the name of a planet, but no suggestion as to where it was. Combed a few galaxies looking for it (the quest name didn't pop up underneath the planet as it does for some) and gave up on it. Terrible design.

And lumping in all the fetch quests with the story stuff - in fact, just lumping all the quests in one big messy list with no way to filter them - really nagged at me the whole game. I have a bit of OCD about this sort of thing - I don't mind leaving uncompleted quests, but I'd like to be able to separate them off so I can't see them as constant reminders. Colour-code that gooseberry fool or something, don't just pile 'em high.

I just wish they had kept the same system as ME2, where it updated as you made progress. So if Salarian A wanted an item from Krogan B the game would keep track as soon as you found it. Here you don't even have a clue where to go, let alone whether you have found the right random piece of space tat. :fp:

And as soon as I had spent around two hours dossing in the Citadel I had around fifteen random quests to do. I think I will just google them and find the right galaxy, at least then I won't be legging it from the reapers quite so often.

I'm pretty sure in the previous games side quests and main story quests could be separated. God knows why they've taken it out.

Is it just me, or is there far less paragon/renegade conversation choices in this than the previous games?

Think I'll have to re-do ME2 again before doing a 2nd run through of 3. Says Tali died during the suicide run and that I never activated Legion which is a load of shite as I had everyone survive in 2. Also Shepard doesn't know Liara is the shadow broker even after I completed the shadow brokers lair DLC

:x

Same for the paragon/renegade quick moments. Seems it's all about your Reputation now rather than whether you're good or bad.

I like how it mixes these secondary quests with the main ones, making them indistinguishable. A nice touch.
