Yeah I normally use Sing/Warp based on the MP....but spending points on Sing&Throw&Pull looks like a waste

They're pretty good if you combo them together.

Singularity is the most useful, although I think it may take longer to recharge.

I'm guessing the pre-order bonuses on origin won't activate till friday even though I'm playing the game now right?

So annoyed i couldn't transfer my character, I've had so many convos in about 5 hours playtime that I just know would be totally different if I wasn't starting again.

I've got ME2 on the 360 to still play, but I might decide to play ME3 on my PC if/when I get around to starting ME2. Is it possible to transfer a save from ME2 360 to PC for ME3, or am I reading this arse ways?

The bullshit xbox 360 cloud bug, don't have the original harddrive or me2 anymore. I've got me2 for pc on the way though, so once I've installed that I'll try and transfer my 360 save data to pc and play it that way.

So annoying though, if I had known about this last week before shopto charged me I would have cancelled my 360 copy and kept my pc collectors edition pre-order. Couldn't afford both in the end

So about 7 hours in. Tbh loving it. It's not the ME to ME2 revolution. It's a continuation of the excellent ME2

Combat is still great - but suffers from the usual thing that early on with limited squadmates, you might end up with problems due to lack of abilities against certain barriers/shields/arm. I love the combat though

The sense of scale is great - there's an early story mission on a moon which is an amazing spectacle.

Couple of downsides:

Getting sidequests for areas of the map not yet open, but no hint of this so spend ages looking for them

Renegade is no longer "be a massive space dick". It's far more pragmatic than before - my Shep's always been pretty much pure Paragon until now, but it's hard not to agree with some Renegade choices (Some might not see this as a downside)

There's been little consequences from previous games (so far) - other than some characters popping up who otherwise might not

Not for beginners. At all really. So much of friendships and relationships is based on past games

Doesn't feel quite as playtested/well put together as ME2 did. I'm stuck atm trying to fight across a courtyard, and with various rampes and sloping barriers, cover is a right bitch.

The Edge review seemed to touch on this. I got the impression from that that the main quest is linear and side quests (loyaltys as in me2) are fairly non existent.

There's a big massive notice whenever you log in to your account saying it wasn't being dispatched till today.

I think the "high street" deals (supermarket, hmv etc)are usually announced the day before release day. Usually in the national press. A good place to find those are in the e-edition of the metro;

I've had 2 side quests so far (other than some fetch quests. One was MP style horde mode with AI companions and one felt exactly like an ME2 recruit/loyalty mission
