Unlucky from Arsenal tonight, but they shouldn't have let themselves get dominated so much in Milan, and AC had their chances tonight as well. I know I probably shouldn't judge from the telly, but the Emirates sounded pretty poor again tonight, considering how close they were to such an incredible comeback. I heard a few "Oh the Arsenal we do"s, but no real eruption from the crowd to spur the players on, it should have been absolutely deafening in there for the last 15 mins, but the game and the atmosphere seemed to die down a bit.

RE: Torres. All those goals show the entire team passing the ball to Torres and letting him do the rest in the box. At Chelsea, everyone wants to score. It's harder for him to get confidence. That's my two pee worth.

He's probably suffering depression or something like that. Hopefully not, but it is very odd how someone so good can become so bad.

Depression :? From what? Playing football

Is that not allowed?

To be fair he doesn't deserve to play for us again, lack of respect shown from him all through this saga. If he apologised to us and Bobby the night after then fair enough but he's just done it now because he wants to play football so bigger clubs come in for him in the summer.

I know every team can do this, but if we'd had more home wins we'd be up there with Southampton and West Ham.

Portsmouth, Millwall, Coventry and Peterbrough - all games we were winning 1-0 very late in the game (2-1 against Pompey) and we conceded a late equaliser after failing to kill the games off.

We deserved wins in all four of these (Pompey's goal was about the 92nd minute, I think) and in Peterbrough we hit the crossbar twice.

We still struggle to get a second goal against teams at home, or let them score and give them a lifeline. Even today, our second was a minute before the end and we should have put it to bed.

Still, our fate for the play offs is on our hands. And if we went on a stupidly great run, we could get one of the top two spots. Unlikely, but with Southampton and West Ham to play still, it feasibly could happen.

Tonight we looked about a million miles away from the Premier League though.

It's such a tight division though. No-one's running away with it, and about any of the top 8 could be saying "if only we'd won this game or that game we'd be top of the league".

We've been beaten by the three teams above us as well (Southampton, West Ham and Reading) and that has cost us, but unbelievably, it's the home draws that STILL have prevented us from being top. Because we've won so many away games, we're still up there.

It does look desperate for Pompey. Six points adrift and, what's worse, getting docked points has let an awful, dirty Forest side out of it (well, worse for neutral fans).

Is it likely you'll last the season? Otherwise, any positions in throughout the league are only tentative. If you fold a few games before the season, the whole top six could move.

I know that, at the moment, West Ham would lose 6 points, for example, and Reading only one which would push them into second. We'd now lose four points (instead of just one before we beat you on Saturday). It would just be a mess.

And that's before you consider the human cost of losing a football club.

We're out of the CL but our last three results have been excellent so I can take that. Top 4 is the priority and the signs are encouraging. :)

Really sounded pretty lively on my stream.
