Up to chapter 15 and loving it so far, the exploration and climbing is brilliant. Getting to grips with the gyro aiming as well, sniping like a badass 8-)

I'm playing it 2-3 chapters at a time. Taking it slow.

That bit on chapter 15 with the sniper rifle, must have tried that about half a dozen times :x . I was getting close to needing a new Vita. Bonus was though I picked up loads of bounties.

Dunno, but if I ever hear Drake say 'bingo' again then I'll explode.

Batman AC got it right - I don't want to balance when I'm on a log/tightrope or any of this crap.

By all means, put as many damn logs and tightropes you want in your games, don't make me balance the gimp and make him walk really slowly. It's not fun.

It's not as bad as he's making out. Sometime's you cross a log and you have to centre the arrow as Drake catches his balance then you can carry on running across it. No need to walk slow or anything.

It's worse.

Completed this last night (albeit on easy, cause I just wanted to play through the story) and I loved it! Best game I have played right through in a while. Though am I the only one that gets disappointed when you sit through all the end credits and there's no extra little scene?

Now to go back and play it proper to get all the bits I missed.

This. There was a reason Naughty Dog discarded this gooseberry fool with UC2 & 3. It's incredibly stupid of Bend Studios to bring it back. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

The fact is, I don't know any game in which this crap is fun or makes sense outside of balancing a grind in a Tony Hawk game.

There's no reason to put it in any game other than that, really, unless you find some way to make balancing fun.

Started this on Saturday. Currently got to the bit where the demo kicks off (Drake in the burning building). Really excellent. It's amazing how well Vita handles things - not only with the graphics, but in terms of controls. Once you get settled into the game it's exactly like playing the PS3 versions. Didn't like the original Uncharted much, but I've become engrossed in Golden Abyss from the get-go.

Only real complaint is the balancing on the logs business. Didn't like it in the original, & don't like it here either; particularly as I had to redo a section 3 times because I kept falling off & dying. Otherwise I think the touch-screen implementation is excellent.

So far, a thoroughly fantastic job from Sony Bend. Done Naughty Dog's series justice.

Finished this last night. Some of the later parts looked jaw dropping
Shame there's no real exploration to be done though. I think there's also too much to collect, so much so that I might have to use a guide :(

If you've got a spare 79p then I'd suggest buying the treasure map off the PSN. I think it adds a nice 'Indy' style treasure hunt to the proceedings. It shows were stuff is without being too informative so you still have to hunt around. Definitely worth having ahead of a second playthrough.

Did anyone else get a sense of déjà vu during the Chamber of the Seven Fathers puzzle? Going back a bit but it rather reminded me of Broken Sword's chess puzzle in Spain.
