Its a proper headfuck when you think about it. I like the way in T3 (shudder) that they just delay Judgement day, so there is this thing of what ever happened, happening no matter what. So judgement day HAD to happen by the very nature of these event starting in the first place. If Reece had known about it, he could have held off banging Sarah for as long as he wanted and it would have been impossible for him to be killed.

Terminator life finds a way.

It can be explained.

The John Connor from the future was young, and has a different father. When he send Reese back, creating a new timeline that John Connor changed into an older, different John Connor with more knowledge and more training passed on by his mother.

It's the only explaination I can think of. It isn't canon but strawberry float, what keeps me sane works.

Um... I'm sure that Judgement Day still will happen with or without John Connor. Skynet just want him out of the way so they wouldn't face a stiff human resistance.

The only way? A terminator film where the humans are the terminators and kill every trace of Skynet in the past. The protector is the t800s.

It's all because Kyle and Judgement Day are all stuck in the alpha world lines attractor field convergance. If he can somehow change the worlds divergance to over 1% he may be able to stop Judgement Day from ever happening.
