Alvin and I had a few very interesting battles last year. If anybody is interested in a fight give either of us a shout.

Me and Killaroo have been AOE2: The Conquerors a lot recently. It'd be nice to organise a big game.

Isn't that a good strategy, upgrading to axeman as early as poss and sending them over?

We used all the available resources making huge armies, battled, which resulted in mutual destruction. The only unit left to us were axemen and villagers.

I think I still have AoE2 somewhere but not installed. I moved on to EU3 for my war fix.

AOE1 is magic. But that is only because I played it when I was kid. AOE3 is gooseberry fool.

Anybody else have Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds? Essentially AOE2, engine and all but in the Star Wars universe. Pretty good from what I remember.

I'm certain that we could have continued indefinitely until we exhausted all of our wood supplies, and been reduced to sending mobs of villagers over to batter each other until such a time as we had exhausted all of our remaining food stocks.

I always preffered AOE1 to 2, I never actually bought AOE2 annoyingly enough and I can't find a downloadable version that works online. :shifty:

I soooo wish I decided to bring my games from home. Wouldn't mind a spot of AOE2 now.
