Judgement Day. Next question.

For you: I recommend Tom Cruise's Legend, based on Labyrinth. It's not on Sky Player though.

Just shoved on Casablanca.

Um... isn't Legend mooted as one of those awful movies?

Anyway! I just watched "One Day".

It was alright. My gf is a bit peeved at me because I hardly found it "romantic" and says I have to find my feminine side.

Ok then.

Tropic Thunder

It was alright. Downey Jr's character was the best by miles  Liked how Jack Black's film history was basically that godawful Eddie Murphy sketch with white people, too. I still find Ben Stiller rather irritating, but it's hard to tell if that's because he IS a bit of a prat, or if he always plays prats. Rather interested to see how much of Tropic Thunder he actually wrote, too, I assume it was all the bad bits.

6/10

Thor - 7/10

It was really enjoyable. Could have done without some of the 'Norse god struggles to cope with earth life' hilarity, but it was fun and entertaining throughout. The scenes in Asgard were also absolutely stunning, looked beautiful on Blu-ray. :-)

I notice on Amazon they've re-released the complete season box-set but again it's still got the edited season 5 and 6 finales.

Unbelievable isn't it. I think that while perhaps not everybody lives in that kind of town or has those exact problems, I think everybody can relate to at least one of the themes/issues in the film. It's a sad love story.

I'm glad I took peoples advice and watched it alone though....would have been even grimmer with company. It was very grey in its portrayal of relationships...I felt so bad for both of them.

I watched it with my girlfriend. I was thinking wow this is sad, thinking she hadn't spoken in 15 minutes, turn to look at her...tears streaming! Seeing her like that got me a bit upset. strawberry floating stupid film haha!

Spirited Away - 10/10

Must have not watched this for 3 years? Give it bash over the weekend and I thought it was brilliant. Great animation, ideas and storyline. Always feel a little empty after watching Studio Ghibli films though, might be because I'm unhappy that the film has to end :(

Just watching Paranormal Activity 3 again and something struck me.

Does... Does the mum not think it's a bit weird that her new boyfriend wants to set up cameras in her small daughter's strawberry floating bedroom?

"Oh...Oh, no honey...It's for...um....Research. Ghost research."

I don't mind some work on the viewer's part to put the pieces together but strawberry floating hell, this is nigh on incomprehensible.

Agreed. I have had an urge to watch it lately. I think I've seen it too recently though. Very underrated I think, and I remember it not really getting a huge amount of advertising when it was released. One of my favourite animated films ever.

The end gets to me everytime, especially with the music booming.

200 Motels - WHAT THE strawberry float DID I JUST WATCH. Seriously, I think that would've made so much more sense if I'd done a bucket before watching. :?

The Woman In Black

Not usually a fan of Daniel Radcliffe in films, but he was decent enough in this. Really enjoyed the film for it's story, which for a horror film set everything up nicely and gave reason as to why things were happening.

Some proper chills up your neck moments in this (that frigging rocking chair) and I'm not usually a fan of horror movies but the "scares" in this were very well timed.

A very entertainment watch, would recommend.

8/10

It was a wonderful film with the style of the 80's and I didn't realise it can be a humour film after all.
