My case for Luigi's Mansion:

It's easily accessible within a week, short enough to keep everyone interested ( and a good way to reintroduce this style of thread!), has easily identifiable points to stop at, plenty of discussion points, is different enough to Paper Mario to attract non RPG fans and is close enough to the sequal to get us all excited for it ( something that these threads should be used for!)

Oooooh, is it too late for another entry? Is anyone interested in playing Earthbound (Mother 2)?



Practically anyone should be able to run Zsnex (the SNES emulator) on any PC, and the ROM is pretty easy to find.

Earthbound was praised by the Zero Punctuation guy as one of the few JRPGs that can be played by people who hate JRPGs. A bit like the Paper Mario games.

I'll throw my hat in for Earthbound too. Earthbound is so bloody good, but I never managed to finish it (only get got around half way through).

It does have quite a bit of grinding in it though and it is very difficult in some places.
