I hope this was all staged as a WWE style setup for an upcoming Haye-Chisora fight.

I'd pay £15 to see these two scrap on PPV anyway. :D

Haye picks up a tripod and looks like hes gone whack him as well , both a bunch of mugs

Did find this funny taken off the bbc sport website

But during the conference, the Klitschkos's manager, Bernd Boente said: "With the bad experience we've had with British fighters we will now look for other countries.

"Contrary to David Haye, Dereck Chisora really went for it and really tried."

Haye, who was at the back of the room, replied: "You don't want to fight David Haye, no?"

Boente replied: "You had an offer, you didn't accept it, now you are out. You are out. Out, out, out. You cannot talk yourself back into the fight, you have no belts. Chisora showed heart, contrary to you. You showed your toe [Haye claimed he broke a toe before the fight]."

I imagine they just thought the whole thing was hilariously pathetic

It's good for us because we love the drama and stuff but, I think they can both forget about the Klitschkos though. As their manager said - between the spitting of water, slapping and t-shirts of beheadings I think they're sick of the sight of British boxers  Surely Haye will face some sort of police action for glassing though? And for all his talk of another match with the Klitschkos - i thought Haye was retired?

He wanted to be a big movie star and thought he was a big name. The offers never appeared, so now he's come back to boxing with his tail between his legs.

Only just learned Chisora spat water at Klitschko :fp: They should strip the majority of his purse off him and hand him a lengthy boxing ban. Here's hoping the German police gave him a shoeing.

And when you thout things couldn't turn any worse... how did we miss this in todays news.

Quote:
Dereck Chisora released by police after David Haye brawl

Dereck Chisora has been released without charge in Munich after a brawl with fellow British boxer David Haye.
Chisora and his trainer, Don Charles, were taken from the city's airport by police as part of the investigation.
Haye and Chisora clashed at the post-fight press conference after Chisora was beaten on points by defending WBC champion Vitali Klitschko.

Police are still searching for Haye, who is wanted for questioning - but his whereabouts remain unknown.
Haye was not at his hotel on Sunday morning and failed to turn up for his scheduled flight, with police still eager to talk to him about his involvement in the brawl.
It is understood officers went to Haye's hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning and were knocking on doors and questioning guests in a bid to find the former world heavyweight champion.
According to Press Association Sport, it is thought Haye could already be back in Britain having possibly fled in the immediate aftermath of the incident.
"David Haye is not in his hotel, he is not at the airport. We don't know where he is," police spokesman Gottfried Schlicht told Sky Sports News.
"We want to speak to him about what happened on Saturday night. We have to hear both sides of the story."
"It's not a charge against David Haye. We have to report everything that happened between Chisora and Haye. Maybe Haye has gone home, then we would talk to our colleagues in Great Britain."
After being detained, Chisora was told by police that he was free to return to England.
Haye showed up at the news conference to confront Klitschko, who he believes changed his mind on a potential fight between the pair.
But that sparked a verbal exchange with Chisora and the pair squared up to each other before a brawl ensued.

Chisora accused Haye of "glassing him", before saying at least four times that he would shoot the former WBA heavyweight champion.
He added: "If David don't fight me, I am going to physically burn him."
Chisora arrived at the airport to return home, but was stopped by police, who detained him at their Munich headquarters.
Chisora has had part of his fight purse withheld by the World Boxing Council after slapping Klitschko at the pre-fight weigh-in on Friday.
Chisora appeared to spit water towards Klitschko's brother, Wladimir, moments before Saturday night's bout began.
More controversy followed when Chisora exchanged words with the Klitschko brothers after the result was announced.
The British Boxing Board of Control has said that it will review the incident.

Watch the video on that link :fp:

Edit - I looks like Haye bottled Chisora as he came over to confront him... not quite sure though, quite hard to make out :?
Also Chisora threatening to shoot Haye... the guy is a bit metal I think.

It's clearly Haye who draws his own trainer's blood by throwing the tripod. Chisora can't be blamed for that one. Where does Vitali shout "Run David run?" Didn't hear that

You can see from the photos that nobody as glassed. David Haye, however, did stupidly punch Chisora with a bottle still in his hand.

"I was shocked David Haye turned up at the press conference," Warren told the BBC News Channel.

Bollocks. :fp:

I wish they'd suspend Chisora and Haye (although he's retired, right? What's he doing coming into a press conference talking about fighting again?) - oh right, he's going to come out of retirement isn't he, the same every strawberry floating boxer who 'retires' does.

Boxing is a dirty sport though, very little class in it, and so two people acting like twats - fake or not - will doubtless come with no repercussions. Would be good to see them both denied what they're after (limelight, a 'big' fight, more media attention and money) but it won't happen.

I really don't see what the big outrage is about. Chisora's actions until the press conference were absolutely superb publicity for the sport. The only thing he really did wrong was threatening to shoot and burn Haye. Haye, likewise, massively overstepped the mark by throwing things and punching with a bottle in his hand.

Otherwise, these incidents drew superb publicity for an event that was otherwise largely ignored. You now have the potential for three new high publicity fights out of this whole saga which given boxing is suffering from competition from MMA these days is no bad thing. Like it or not, the heavyweight divison badly needs high profile matches between the Klitschko's/Chisora/Haye. The division has been sterile for years, it needs this injection of interest.

All this talk of that behaviour not being fitting of Boxing is bollocks. Glassing and threats to burn/shoot obviously shouldn't have happened (in the heat of the moment they went too far) but the odd harmless scuffle and spitting of water is absolutely fine when it comes to promotion. Another 10 years of boring identikit boxers with bog standard promotion and the heavyweight division will be beyond saving.

Oh yeah this has everyone talking at work (even women :fp:). I'm sucker for controversy and will pay happily £15-20 for these fights. The more you look at the whole thing the more it looks set-up but clearly went too far

Loved every bit of it. From the lonely clapper to klitch screaming " RUN haye,RUN!"

It's more the fact that this is what boxing has to resort to for the average person to be interested. The fighters profiles aren't enough... which is sad really.
