Interesting fight between Klit and Chisora tonight. Obviously he was out boxed as expected but Chisora at least put in a good effort. It's pretty obvious why he was also playing the mind games aswell with the slap pre fight and the spitting of water. He was just trying to make an name for himself as most people around the world wouldn't have a clue who he was.

I watched the fight in a bar so couldn't hear any of the commentary. What did Haye say? does it sound like he will step back in and fight Vitali? Based on tonights performance i would say that Haye could take him.

Also what was the deal with Chisora having to replace his handwraps before the fight?

Was actually impressed with Chisora's effort tonight.
RE: handwraps: wladimir came into his dressing room while his hands were being wrapped and complained about the way they were being done, Chisora then ripped them off and said he wasn't going to fight.

Haye basically used the opportunity for self promotion, and appealed to klitscho's manager to sort out a fight for the summer. Haye sounded well up for it.

Haye is nothing but a complete and utter prick. After the fight, all that talk about how he'll beat Vitali. You gotta earn a title shot, and getting embarrassed and retiring like a little girl isn't how you get a shot.


And then to actually glass Chisora at the press conference? I hope he loses his license. He's a disgrace to all boxers everywhere.

Funniest thing is when Haye's manager calls Vitali's promoter a 'disgrace to the sport'. Should perhaps look at your fighter first, you prat.

Well as Hayes last fight was when he lost his title I would say he deserves the fight more than chisora who was basically a nothing man but for haye to glass chisora like that, what a Pratt. Previously haye has always seemed like quite a clever guy who puts on an arrogant act for self publicity. I could well see them taking his licence away.

Awesome. Boxing needs this despite how ugly it looks. We have gone a decade with no personalities or decent feuds, at least this is compelling.

I agree, assuming that chisora doesn't go through with his threat to shoot David haye.

So chisora has been detained by police at the airport in Germany. I assume it is more because of him threatening to shoot haye than anything else.

I think the way the Klitschkos were stood there smiling says a lot about how that came across.

I haven't seen too much of what's gone on, but the Brits have really tarnished their reputation here it seems, sure the Klits may be "boring" fighters, but no-one can beat their robotic techniches, ala GSP! It really doesn't reflect well all these silly antics, maybe Haye and Chisora will meet in the ring, but is that even worth hyping around?

In all fairness if I was Chisora, I'd have probably gone strawberry floating ape gooseberry fool to getting glassed as well, what kind of banana split glasses someone? Haye could have blinded him and ended his career with that, just silly antics that just make the brits look like rowdy thugs.
