I've come up with this error during installation:

What does it mean?

It came up during the installation from Disc 4 which seems to have a small scratch. The scratch is about 1cm long and goes from the circumference inwards.

Any play Zero Hour on Windows 7? I keep getting an error telling me to installed directx 8.1. I've tried various fixes on the net by altering the options.ini file and what not but doesn't seem to help.

It's a Sony vaio

Model: vgn-cs11s

Intel centrino 2 processor technology

Nvidia card - unsure on which one

Windows vista

Any one know anything about the machine?

Turns out its a GeForce 9300m GS

I could search for days on stats and not have a clue.

Can anyone tell me if this will run CS 1.6 med - low with a gaming fps 80-120?

Should be alright. My old laptop with an 8600m handled that game fine.

Can't think why not, according to this it'll eat Doom 3 for breakfast (although the laptops they tested also had Core Duos of some description, so your mileage may vary.)
