I had tickets to see Brand New this week but was too ill to go in the end :fp:

They've been playing that and Moshi Moshi a lot on this tour.

I had tickets to see them tonight, I sold them about an hour ago because my stupid friend dropped out and I couldn't find anyone else to come with.

I could have gone on my own, but I knew I wouldn't enjoy it as much and plus I'd have the hassle of paying for a taxi back on my own. Sucks :cry: At least I got my money back I suppose.

Yeah I couldn't even sell mine in the end. But I'd have definitely gone on my own and just chilled out at the back. Taxi costs would even out because you wouldn't buy as much beer on your own - one would be enough probably. Not the same kind of fun though I know.

I once had a chat (About 2/3 tweets from them :shifty: ) with Los Campesinos on Twitter about going to gigs by yourself. They told me it's way better, and they're famous so they must know.

Nothing wrong with going to gigs by yourself. I've been to Radiohead and 65daysofstatic by myself and had a great time. The hipflask of scotch did help, though. Feel the same about cinema. I'm there to watch the gooseberry fool.
