I would've never imagined Apple would be releasing another update so soon, but yeah I'd wait. Summer 2012 apparently so not long. Although, saying that... Lion is only £29 from the App Store anyway.

Anyone know the name of the game/app for iphone where you ask someone to think of a name of someone famous and it asks you questions to find out who it is?

It's going to be released a year after Lion was, so yes they will be charging for it. And apple is saying they will be doing annual updates now for the Mac operating system.

Meh, after a mate of mine installed lion and it fcked up his macbook pro, I'm staying on snow leopard for the foreseeable future. Its great as it is :wub:

Strange occurrence yesterday. Mac powered down and wouldn't switch on unless connected to a wall socket :( Battery trouble?

He said it slowed it right down, and indeed getting the spinning pizza of technicolor death.

I think he eventually wiped it and put snow leopard back on, whereupon it started working properly again.

I may have to do that.. Now where did I put my snow leopard disc :fp:

I'll have to do it this weekend as I got tons of things to back up like movies/music.
