If you like, could you "like" my facebook page? I know it's lame, but I guess you have to be a whore to try and make it as an Illustrator, as you never know who might see my work.

Trying to build up a portfolio and just send it to random places. Even local newspapers/magazine things.

you never know, if my music career gets more serious you could draw me stuff, or if you ever do animation or stuff with moving images my friend who works in film might need you.

these are all pipe dream ideas right now, but you're a skilled guy and hopefully something will come out of it.

I did 2 years of uni, but I got sick of it and left (Illustration course). Didn't think I was ready for 3rd year, but hopefully going to go back in October. Would have been a while since I was there though so gonna be quite nerve wracking. Atm though I'm trying to find some professional practice as that is one of the units in 3rd year.

Someone on here wanted a cover for his bands album. it's some kind of grungy band and the lyric was "the king of the scum" (iirc). So he wanted a clown sitting in some scabby house. Here is what I have so far. Need the bands logo and album name next.

All of the artwork in here is just amazing! So much talent.

Been drawing some fooood lately as aside from drawing it's about the only other thing I'm good at. Cooking that is. I'm not good at food. I'd like to one day get some food pics in some kind of magazine. I always like the illustrations in Waitrose magazines.

i'll take some photos for crap i've drawn, which is fairly generic anime girls for the most part. i try and draw anime style boys but they end up looking like girls

Don't feel shamed for not being able to draw hands. They are notoriously hard to draw. Can take years of practice to get them spot on every time. Some places hire specific people do draw hands because that's what they're specialised in.
