Like almost everyone here, loved the controller and most of the games I bought for it. Still use the 2 controllers and discs I have on the Wii.

Mine came with Mario Sunshine, Pikmin and the first Burnout. Really like and still play the 2 EA LOTR titles (they push the comfort of the controllers to the limits), Soul Calibur II, & Burnout 2 (unfortunately my copy always crashes in the same place on single player championship(?) mode) but the fave game for me was Wind Waker. As magical as OOT for me, and one of the few games that I have ever played through to the end.

I wanna start playing my Gamecube games again but after re-arranging my room the wire on my pad doesn't stretch to where my chair is. Time to look for a Wave bird on eBay methinks.

i fired on double dash for a while over the weekend, a wee break to skyrim.

i just can't get into it, i need people to play it with, it feels wrong on my own, sooooo many wasted study hours in uni playing the battle mode.

i think its best played stoned too, i think i need to back to uni, get into student digs again and get a bunch of student stoners around and get this on the go, then it would feel right.

I'm full of first world problems I looked for a Wavebird but they're too expensive so I had to settle for a 6 foot extension cable for my wired pad.

I'm trying to rebuild my former Gamecube collection but some titles are proving troublesomely expensive. I'm also looking to buy a new, sealed in box Gamecube but again too expensive.

Thinking of bringing my gamecube out of retirement with my PS3 taking up permanent residence in the living room and me tiring of moving the Wii between bedroom and living room. It looks awful on a HDTV though as I only have the standard analogue AV cable that came with the machine. Anyone know anywhere I can get a digital av cable for gamecube? Struggling to find ones that don't cost the earth

Lost Kingdoms 2 is quite a bit better imo.

Does your Gamecube have the port for Digital AV? Only models made before May 2004 have it.

what cable is he after?

i have a box load of gamecube cables, might have what he's looking for.

i use a splitter just, the av reciever does all the work.

yea, they tend to be custom made cables that cost around £60-£80 each. I had one made for me when I had a Japanese Panasonic Q cube.

That said the expense has meant its not viable to get the cable, they're a daft price. Think I'll just keep it hooked up via rgb scart, most stuff still looks pretty good. Especially Wind Waker

Want to get a few games to play on the Wii, and only have Mario Sunshine, Zelda Windwaker and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3. Recommend me some. Worth getting Twilight Princess?

Not for the price it fetches, especially if you have a Wii. You will be looking at £40 for it probably.

If you only have 3 games, that £40 could hoover up an awful lot of quality titles. What have you played before/on other consoles?

Resi 4 is a must-have, obviously.

Have that on Wii though, is there any point or is the HD PS3 version worth getting?

If you want to get Gamecube version of Twilight Princess expect to pay loads for it. Otherwise just go for Wii version, which is much cheaper. Maybe £15-£20 at push.
