Hello.
This is
GRCade: Fight. Beginning with some immediacy, a tournament for Street Fighter III: Third Strike - Online Edition shall be held between GRCade members.
Fight rules are rather up in the air right now, and I hope can be formalised by tournament participants. How would you like things to proceed? As it stands at the moment, players will be drawn randomly against each other for recurring events, either weekly or fortnightly depending on the number of players, competing in standard three round matches with the player winning the best out of three going on to the next round.
Would you prefer players announce their character at the beginning of each tourney? Do they have to stick to the one character throughout or are they allowed to change as they wish? I'm leaning towards players having to submit the one character they'd like to play as that week to myself (I won't peak before I've chosen my own, promise) and having them all announced as the tournament begins. But that's just me, what do you think?
Each match should be saved and uploaded by one of the players for the viewing pleasures of the other competitors. I'll keep the
main 3S topic updated with highlights, but all tournament related business takes place in here. As well as keeping this post updated with each ongoing event, I'll be chronicling player progress (and regression) with an overall leaderboard. It'll be good.
Tournament open to 360 players only. Sorry. Why would you buy it on any other platform?
Sign up, tell your friends, but also; sign up!Thankyou.
