Thought it would be an interesting rule to shake things up and make it a bit fairer on weaker players against players who maybe excel at one particular character.

I would have thought weaker players would only have experience with one or two characters whereas the greater knowledge of fundamentals by experienced players will allow them to stomp newer players.

Maybe you're right, but it does throw in a bit more of an unknown element which can bring up surprises. This doesn't have to be a one off, we can always do another tournament afterwards where you can stick with your main.

It's a great idea to do different characters, I know I keep singling out Shalashaska ( ) but I can tell you now he would win if he was just playing with Vega. The man is a machine

Congrats KJ, some great games there, some were very close. Nice to have taken it to all 5 fights.

KJGarly wins 3-2 and advances!!

I'm kicking myself slightly for picking Chun-Li for that final battle and then being decimated, as she's always a bit of an x-factor with me, but I fancied my chances nonetheless and paid for my cockyness by being destroyed. Taking nothing away from Garly, the best man definitely won.

I couldn't actually hear what you were saying through your mic so apologies if I seemed unresponsive.

I realised my mic was on mute when messaging you, and then in game you probably couldn't hear me because I removed the sponge from the end of the mic so unless I'n holding it directly in front of my mouth I don't think you can hear me. Cheers for the games again, look forward to the next round.

Floey..i remember the last time i played you was on release day of SF4
All i remember was losing alot, the only character id ever used up til then was a shitty flowchart ken

But yeah nto to make excuses or anything my lag will probably strawberry float this up, but lets give it a shot! Give me a day or 2 to get back into the swing of things as i havent played properly since about last april. Maybe have our games sat afternoon?
