Nice stuff shuan, keep it up. The tablet your using, does it allow drawing straight onto the screen like the more expensive wacom tabs or is it a more traditional input device via a standard monitor?

Whilst it has it's limitations, I actually use my iPad with sketch book pro for digital art work now and after some getting used to, I have found the results pretty good. It obviously lacks presaure sensitive abilities as it will only detect one kind of input, but with some practice and constant changing of brush size and types you can indeed get some nice fine details out of the iPad. I use a stylus (though some of the best are sadly not available in this country), still a £4.99 iPhone Pen from HMV more than suffices currently. I need to do more really, got lazy and just haven't bothered doing any art stuff in a while.

The Wacom is pressure sensitive so it really as as close to using real materials as you can get (without actually using them of course). I p actualersonally think it has advantages over using real materials. I have a wacom hooked up to a laptop and draw on the wacom while looking at the laptop screen. It's difficult at first but you soon get used to it and there are models available where you can see you're art on the pen tablet (though they are quite expensive).

Thanks, didn't realise this thread was still going :D I haven't done any new drawings in quite a while, might have to get the Wacom out again soon.
