Taker/Batista Last Man Standing and the Cena/Edge/Orton/HBK Fatal Four Way, two amazing matches.

Hell yeah. I remember at the time 2002 seemed so underwhelming coming off the back of a good 3 years of awesome but those 2 2002 shows in particular were fantastic - Survivor Series just pips it for me solely due to the electric MSG crowd. The pop Scott Steiner got for his debut was amazing:

Love Steiner's 'gimee the strawberry floating mic' too.

I do  the MSG crowd, they always make moments that bit more special. The pop in this video here is ridiculously loud and it just seems to go on forever.

For cost cutting reasons the WWE are doing yet another double taping for Raw on Monday, so they'll be getting their entire build for Hell in a Cell out in one night.

You know what hasn't been explained - what's happening with this Chris Jericho stip at NOC? If he loses does he still have to leave the WWE?

Paul London having a jolly good laugh at Matt Hardy's expense:

Which Matt has since responded to on Twitter (where else?):

(Since removed)

Twitter, Matt Hardy wrote:Did anyone save or copy a recent video of one Mr. London apparently "slandering" my name? My lawyer is very interested in seeing it-thx

What is he, 12?

In a response to a comment sent from one of his fans about Paul London, he replied:

Twitter, Matt Hardy wrote:Yeah, I agree with you. I kinda feel sorry for the guy, he's a mess.

Twitter, Matt Hardy wrote:He's not important or significant enough to me to even dignify his absurd, delusional comments

The combination of Twitter & YouTube really is becoming death for some of these wrestlers. Lance Storm even said it's rather undignified.

It was funny for about 30 seconds before he repeated the same two jokes about four times each.

It was on Channel 4 if I recall.

And then the entire event was ruined by Mae Young's puppies.

Barack Obama cuts a promo on Linda McMahon

WWE News: U.S. President speaks out against Linda McMahon while campaigning for her opponent
Sep 16, 2010 - 10:49 PM

U.S. President Barrack Obama appeared at a fundraiser for Linda McMahon's opponent Richard Blumenthal on Thursday. "This is the kind of leader you want representing you, somebody you know,” Obama said of Blumenthal. "Somebody who doesn’t just show up and try to get a victory by writing a big check and flooding the airwaves with negative ads.”

"I understand she has promised a smack down,” Obama said regarding Linda. "And look, there’s no doubt I can see how somebody who has been in professional wrestling would think that they are right at home in the U.S. Senate if they were watching some of the behavior that’s been going on. But the truth is -- and Dick understands this –- public service is not a game." To read the full story, visit ABCNews.com.

That soured the Channel 4 relationship right from the off...

...which was then followed the next time they were on PPV with a powerbomb on Trish Stratus through a table (which was freeze framed).

The whole thing was doomed to failure from the get go. It was like Channel 4 had never watched Raw is War & were aghast once they'd realised what they had just purchased. If man-on-woman violence isn't acceptable on cable, what chance has it got running on terrestrial?

Heat was really successful on the Sunday evening slot, mind you. C4 then bumped it to the early hours because they hated it.

Yeah I remember that Trish Stratus thing. They also started showing the PPVs on a one hour delay too, didn't they?
