It's the alert sound for friend requests. Switch your sounds back on and wait for someone to add you, and you can share in the wonder.

Each game needs to be updated by the developer, so there aren't many yet. I expect a minor flood of updates in the next few days/weeks.

Seems that Zen Bound 2 has been updated for this, I've seen some folk with it on my friends list.

Ah, right. Just noticed Professor Isaac Newton's Gravity has achievements, so I bought that. It's a lot harder to control on the iPhone screen compared to using it with a stylus on a DS :(

Word Scramble (a Boggle type game) is free, and now supports Game Center, including Friends-invites.

Been a while since this was updated. Anyone want to add their name to the list? There still aren't many games that use Game Center for multiplayer larks, but the leaderboard system works pretty well for most games.
