Jesse Ventura foreshadowing Jim Ross' transformation many years later into "Good ol' JR" (from about 5:40):

This had to have been a rib on Tony Schiavone. He looks strawberry floating ridiculous.

Can you imagine the pop he'd get? I'd actually prefer it to The Rock coming back :shifty:

Bryan would make sense, but I think WWE would have to foreshadow it in this case.

A video package (that the crowd could see) about Nexus and their history, focusing on Bryan and what they did to him would be needed. I just don't know if the majority of the audience at large would remember Danielson.

It's probably Miz, but I don't think we should discount Orton.

And KK is right; how the hell is Bret Hart going to be eliminated? My best bet is a DQ.

And poor Tony. He was a decent announcer until WCW beat the logic out of him. At one PPV I saw he was talking about how those "cookie sheets don't really hurt, they just make a loud noise. The trash cans are the same".

Watched 30 mins of Raw so far. Miz and Bourne were just  Those two need a long match - Summerslam perhaps?

It's another really difficult PPV, IMO.

Some PPVs (the B-Level ones) are difficult because the results are largely inconsequential. This is tricky because the storylines leading in to it have been very solid, and the outcome to the Nexus/Cena match would work with either side winning. And as we know with the WWE, the non-main event matches have finishes based on the main event, rather than what works for their own storyline.

I think this months predictions need a lot of thought, so i am postponing mine for a day. I'm quite convinced that Nexus will win but i think all the other question need a lot of thought.

Also who's actually pumped up for Summerslam? i'm interested but not on a Wrestlemania or even Royal Rumble level. I was just thinking because a few months back WWE announced that they were going to try to push Summerslam to give it a Wrestlemania feel, with the fan axxess event etc that the only usually reserve for WM's. Granted they have at least pushed it on RAW & SD making the road to Summerslam their main focus point with some decent storylines, however it's just not quite turning my head.

Thoughts on the 7th man for the WWE team. It's looking like it will either be Daniel Bryan or The Miz. It can't be The Rock like some have said, if it was then i'm sure it would have been revealed before to get people to buy the ppv. However don't forget folks Rock did say in interviews many months ago that he was working with Vince McMahon on a summer project. However any talk of this now seems to have vanished.

I'm actually really pumped up for it, the entire Nexus angle has been really great from day one, they've been kept strong, and it's allowed the match on Sunday to mean something.

When they take over, I want PPVs to now be tagged as 'WWE/Nexus'.

I remember in 1996 at Bash at the Beach, Nitro couldn't come around fast enough so I could find out who the 3rd man was. Good times.

I don't think they're going to do it Sunday, but I'd love John Cena to turn. I don't think they're going to do it for two reasons. 1, the massive merchandise sales he does and 2, there's no face big enough, outside of - groan - Triple H, to counteract him. The WWE obviously needs a saviour...and unfortunately Cena is it.

David Otunga singing And I'm Telling You on Lopez Tonight: WWE Superstar Karaoke Week. Not exactly what you want going in to SummerSlam, but still...

BTW, the last time Randy Orton & Sheamus met on Pay Per View was Royal Rumble back in January. Sheamus won by Disqualification when Cody Rhodes ran in. I don't know what finish they're going to go with at SummerSlam. If Sheamus wins, Orton never gets another title shot...but Sheamus is just getting momentum, so why take the belt off him? And they can't do another DQ finish surely, because that would be a complete sham.
