Apparently Tommy Dreamer has some heat backstage for trying to cry too hard. Tommy Dreamer's gimmick is that he cries easily, so think of how gooseberry fool it must look next week.

What TNA needs to do is focus on new talent, with a smattering of old.

A considerable amount in TNA seems to be stuck in 1997. Does it really look good when washed up wrestlers, who to most people were never considered main-eventers in either the WWF or WCW, are beating up TNA's young roster? That same roster that is supposed to be leading them in to the future? Invasions by their very nature are supposed to leave you going "Holy gooseberry fool!". When Nexus arrived on Raw, if you were nodding off (which after that particular Raw was probably a certainty), you damn well woke up when they started destroying all & sundry. Or, in 1995, "Oh my God it's Lex Luger!"

Sorry but, "Oh...it's Tommy Dreamer accompanied by...Stevie Richards" ain't quite doing it for me. Hell, can you even call it an invasion when Dixie Carter invited them in the first place? All they've basically done is book an...

ECW PPV that they can't call ECW because Vince McMahon owns it. And if they keep referring to ECW, Vince could probably sue if he was that bothered.

I remember when I first saw him being interviewed properly on WCW Nitro (early 1999). They went to his home after surgery - I couldn't believe how normal he both sounded & acted! Completely different.
