Changed from Virgin to O2/BE a few days ago. As I got a bit tired of the Virgin service for both TV and broadband. So decided to change Sky for TV, simply because Virgin don't look like they will be getting the red button feature or the Sky HD channels. And I heard many good things about O2/BE for broadband especially when it comes to gaming. It's also £10 a month for up to 20 meg broadband, if your an O2 customer.

Apparently I should be getting up to 17 meg on my line. So I haven't quite reached that yet.

Can't complain really, have been upgraded for free a couple of times now. Get a decent 2,500KB/s when downloading from megaupload and gaming on the PC and DS are fine.

The worst thing is that's actually pretty good for around here. You should see it when my bro is on cod, my dad working on his laptop, me on mine, and my sis on the computer.

Im on a netbook, with downloads going a 5mps, a ps3 and xbox 360 streaming media from the media server and a web server running 24/7 as well.

Cant beat unlimited 50mb 8-)

Not really very accurate though. I've often downloaded at 11MB/s and uploaded at 5MB/s+. Still, can't really complain. x

Speedtest is bollocks though, I know for a fact I can upload faster than that.

That is woeful. I knew my internet was gooseberry fool but I didn't realise how bad it was. Takes an age to download anything.

I'm on virgin 20mb but have upgraded to 50mb having that installed next Saturday. Will some tests then to see what it will be like.
Also it worth trying all 3 local servers on speedtest.net as they seem to be very different.
