I just thought of a really great addition for the new season. Every team can make one driver they choose at any time have a 10 second stop and go penalty. This will mean the teams at the top will need to furiously brown nose the teams at the back of the grid or face being ganged up on. They can also save up these penalties if they feel the need to really piss on someone's chips and make one of the last races of the year pitstop hell.

Really not loving these new front wings but I say that at the start of the majority of seasons then as the season progresses, I just stop noticing them.

Yeah, but is anyone else 'concerned' that the 'vent' in the step-nose on the red bull is another piece of Newey-genius that will see the red bull comfortably faster than everyone else?

i think the vent is a brillaint idea !!

all the others will be flipping the air up and so effecting rear wing, by having the vent the air goes through then im guessing over some kit to create downforce.

It's not an actual vent as they're not allowed. It's supposed to reduce the tubulence created by the step on the nose.

I wonder if the 'Beadle nose' (thats what i'm calling it now) will have an effect on the flexible front wing? They used to run that massive rake angle on the red bull to tip the wing closer to the ground than allowed, so with the back end lower now (due to the ban on the blown diffusers) the front wing will be higher.

If the gap is to reduce pressure, it might have the effect of creating a bit of 'free' downforce being where it is.
