Even The Rock proving the age old adage true again that there's only one person in this business the crowd won't boo Live, & that's Hulk Hogan. Everyone else is not invincible. Come the night, the crowd is going to be almost completely in Rock's favour, but these next few weeks of RAW Rock might not get such an easy ride of it.
Taped segments were excellent (even if Rock throwing things off a bridge did bear an uncanny similarity to what Austin did to Rock's Intercontinental title, among other objects, on RAW IS WAR in 1997 - but it's long enough most people will probably have forgotten). Live, I thought Rock definitely came off the weaker of the two this week. And that wasn't my opinion last time.
I'm quite sure that Hogans been booed live multiple times. Plus it shouldn't be forgotten that they were in Boston tonight cenas home town and rocks always had some people in the crowd booing.
Rock did seem a little edgy on the live promo tonight, but as some others have said it could have been because cena kept interrupting his flow. Rocks promos have always been about flow. His greatest promos are ones where he isnt interrupted or when people wait their turn to speak. Rocks never really been about funny one liners like cena, obviously he does do this but he's usually about making a long passionate, loud, raising speech.
Overall good raw. Question though are the divas matches getting shorter and shorter each week?
