Your balls might fall through your scrotum. If you were to encounter it in that area.

Steroid creams thin the skin over time.

Simple.

Numerous Doctors have told me so.

I've had a light case of eczema on my hands for years. It did get bad at times (Though not the worst cases of it) but E45 cream has helped them stay nice and unflaky for the most part.

Oh, so that's why. I always wondered why you can't use it for too long, and the doctors never tell you why.

I've been using them on and off for 4 years. 8-)

I'd hazard a guess that is the reason why your balls haven't fallen off yet :P

Ive always had eczema although its cleared up quite a bit now, used to be worse when I was a kid. I remember I used to lick it in some attempt to make it better.

How funny if you were eating whilst reading that.

I've got eczema, I had it until I was about 5 and then it came back again when I was 18. It's not as bad as it was six years ago. It's just a bitch to have when I overheat.

I get an excema-style flakiness on my face every so often, on the creases between my nostrils and cheeks and on my eyebrows (it looks like I have eyebrow-druff when I get it  ). I think it's stress related, as it flares up during examination periods.

Apparently cancer may be misdiagnosed as eczema as well. What a great disease.

Ever read A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon? One of the characters cuts a piece of eczema off with scissors cos he thinks it's cancer.

:? That's a horrible image. Worryingly my eczema has the symptoms of a rare form of cancer. :? But as I've had it for 3 years, I'd be dead if it were cancer right?

I always assumed it was spelled "exthma" or something. Like Xmas but not as fun.

Probably nothing, might as well get it checked out. Just try to avoid pairs of scissors for the time being.
