Bought Game of Thrones on DVD in Sainsburys today. Apparently when I watched it the first time I wasn't paying attention at all and didn't once notice that Arya's name is pronounced Are-ya, not A-rye-a.

I'm actually quite surprised looking at the state of Fox's drama's and especially how Alcatraz has bombed. Althougn I'm not that bothered it did get better towards the end of the season and it would have been nice to get a second season.

I read something on Deadline that Fringe may get a final half season if they can significantly reduce the budget, but I'm not sure if this is good as one of the things I love about Fringe is how great the production values are, and I'm not sure I want it back if it's going to look cheap and scaled back.

Wishful thinking. Terra Nova (which admittedly had a better timeslot than Fringe) got higher ratings than Fringe and for the random week I looked at, was actually the winner of its timeslot. For the most recent ep, Fringe came 4th out of the 5 main networks.

Both new, the one postponed last week has been rescheduled for mid-march on TV.
