Well if he composed the pm himself we need CYNTHIA to confirm she did in fact send it.

Isn't it against the rules to post a PM from the Gamemaster?

The above post, unless specifically stated to the contrary, should not be taken seriously. If the above post has offended you in any way, please fill in this form and return it to your nearest moderator.

I assume it's just like changing a quote!

Can this be explained?

Think it has been a rule in the past but no mention of it in the rules this time.

It's definitely against the rules to print screen PMs from the person running the game, not sure for people just putting up text and saying it was sent in a PM.

If it wasn't him then the real target would have come out by now, still leaving Parksey dead.

Not sure if people remember, but this may have already happened.

It was clearly said at the start that your role PM is for you alone and most not be shared or shown to anyone.

It is. It's one of those gentleman agreements the game always has.
If someone was to post a "confirmed" PM, e.g. a screen-cap of one, they be tossed from the train.
Although, correct me if I'm wrong, but that has always went for all PMs, not just GM ones.

People are allowed to type whatever they want inside a quote box though.
No way to verify if it is real or made-up, apart from trusting the poster.

We're talking about a normal pm, though.

That goes without saying.

The Seers will still know tonight if Parksey is telling the truth or not with no risk to their identities.

Still seems like a dumb move if he's lying.

Exactly. If they see that I am lying - which I am not, but I will go along with your doubts, which are understandable ; then they simply dont contact me.

Their Seering results will put their fears to bed though and make them certain they can trust me.

People accusing me of offering up the Seers to the Mods are mistaken, as they don't have to contact me.

My reveal was only to get me the protection tonight and to get Seered. They would be stupid to not Seer me now. I was subtly trying to get them to do it yesterday by constantly mentioning the Seers in my posts.

My only hope is that Parksey isn't a "role faker".....

Although I doubt that role exist

Parksey is our next Player's Mod!

Please let me know your public banning candidates before 6pm.

Here is your First Class Cabin key, which allows you exclusive access to the People's Cabin.

The People's Cabin is the only cabin that can be locked from the inside, meaning at night you are able to lock your door and save yourself from any Moderator bannings.

Of course you have to hand the key to your successor tomorrow, and you can't run twice in a row.

I'm looking forward to banning the gooseberry fool out of you.

See, there are some things iffy with this whole thing. Why did the mods target Parksey, why did the witch doctor protect Parksey, getting all the seers to use all of their energy on one person stops two of them from potentially finding anyone else tonight, Parksey could be a mod with a different title like StayDead was and get all the seers killed in one swoop, he could come back as a mod but the seers won't have anyone to tell while he weaves a tapestry of lies.

But I still think he's probably a straight shooter.

And if people wonder why I didn't reveal myself at 11pm or whenever tomorrow.

Well, my first instinct when reading the PM about being attacked and protected was to run for mayor.

However I wanted to run andtry win office organically, and keep the fact I was the attempted target and, also, that I was a special role a secret. I was hoping to gain protection, then maybe get contacted by the Seers in secret.

After all, I was a dead man before, having been protect and then attempted to be killed - the Mods wouldn't let that slide. But as a special role even more so.

Then I realised the fact I could be Seered with 100% reliability could be an asset.
