In class today took some bloods for cholesterol measurement and did electrical impedance to find out body fat percentage. Results on Friday, probably. Should be interesting, despite currently being about 15kg overweight (combined effect of two years prior poor diet and now GOMAD).

And then just drop back down:

Finished with 2x20 lunges with 25KG - absolutely killed my legs.

Reminds me, there was a short guy on at the gym yesterday. Kept using the weight machines before me, which meant I had to adjust the seat by a lot every time :x Still he looked built, but couldn't do the weights and reps that I could.

Being tall FTW. 8-)

And I've noticed "looking built" doesn't have to have such a correlation with the kind of weights you're doing. I've seen guys in the gym who are twice my size and stacked and their deadlifts are pathetic.

Fair enough, 120kg is my short term goal, long term goal I wish to get some definition. The only part that's quite defined is my shoulders, everything else is still a little flabby!

I feel so sick right now. Did a heavy gym session last night on cardio and weights - having gone up 7kg on everything on all sets, and made the mistake of trying to repeat the workout two days in a row. Managed to do most of work out but couldn't face the chest presses. the last set of 10 89kg leg extensions pushed me over the edge. Legs basically buckling as I walked up the hill home afterwards. Gonna have a couple of days off.. have pushed myself too hard. Need recovery time.

The weights at the gym go up in 7kg weights. Not a huge amount of choice. Yesterday was fine. The ones I was on before weren't really pushing me massively. It's just doing the 2 workouts in 24 hours that's hit me for six a bit.

Fair enough. If you can't increase the weight then increase the repetitions.
