Made some last year with a marmalade and whiskey sauce. Was really nice. Obviously I will have the classic though too.

Where did you get whiskey sauce from? Sounds tasty

I mean it was a mixture of marmalade and whiskey, not "whiskey sauce". It was in Waitrose magazine anyway last Easter.

Just had a tasty soup. I still have some of the tom yum paste left, so it was a nice quick meal. Stirfried some veg quickly, added some noodles to a bowl then poured soup on it.

Home made lemon grass tea  Just chop up some lemon grass into boiling water, let steep for a few minutes, pour into a mug and then add a little honey.

Chopped up some chorizo into chopped tomatoes with some olive oil. Popped it into the oven in a casserole dish and then laid a sea bass fillet on top. Lid on and twenty five mins later it was one of the nicest pieces of fish I've ever eaten.

I'm not a fish eater. Which is why I get bothered when Chorizo is paired up with fish  I strawberry floating love Chorizo, almost as much as I hate fish.

Chorizo (in general) = win

Making quesadillas for lunch. Extra mature cheddar with thinly sliced chorizo, a bit of hot sauce and some onion.

They strawberry floating rule. I tend to go for red onion and pepper, softened in butter and brown sugar (sweet tooth), then mixed with chicken cooked in paprika and black pepper and cheese.

What's your preferred cooking method? I go for a frying pan, then just flip it half way through. It's precarious because you risk the fillings dropping out, but it's otherwise pretty easy.

Yep, frying pan. Spray some sunflower oil in there, heat it up then put the thing in flat, melt some of the inards, fold it pinching down the sides, then spray the top and flip that.

NOM.

Do you cook the onion / pepper before you put it inside?

I tend to, mainly to prevent onion breath. No reason why you'd have to. If I'm making a batch of them, I would tend to make a big bowlful of filling, with the pepper, onion and chicken in together, being kept warm while I cook them.

The frying pan method does make it tricky to do these if you're entertaining. I tried making a load once, keeping them warm in the oven while the rest were made. They were all grand except for the bottom one, which was pretty soggy.

What do people have for breakfast? I tend to forget breakfast but lately I've been having fruit salad. Handful or two or porridge oats, thinly sliced apple, plum, mango, raisins, pineapple or whatever other nice fruit is around. Then a good couple of dollops of yogurt, with a drizzle of honey on top. Yum.

Also, does anyone here have a food blog? I remember me and my brothers gf while she was living here were going to start one. She loves food even more than me I think  . It was going to be food talk with my illustrations. I wanted to call it "Foodles" but some bitch had already got that idea :x .

I'm on cereal at the moment. When I've been dieting I've just made do with a smoothie. I'd love a substantial breakfast but I just can't be bothered.

95% of the time I just have bran flakes for breakfast (but not kelloggs as I find them too sweet, Tesco and/or Sainsbury's are best).
