I followed the instructions on the first page before I asked for help if you'd read my posts.

Bit harsh.

Huw there is no point signing up if you have no interest in it. It is an amazing app though and would highly recommend it. I would never watch shows like -Sunny in Philadelphia , Arrested development, Friday night lights, Dexter etc if it wasn't for Netflix. You turn it on -pick the show you want and it's in HD. I think that is a lot less hassle then downloading.

They gave me 2 months free. I spoke to a lovely lady though so that might have helped. Plus I'm cool as hell usually on the phone. Did you by any chance come across as if they owed you?

LoveFilm customer services have always been great to me. I contacted them on Twitter when a Blu-ray I'd sent back to them didn't appear to arrive, and they gave me 5 months free rentals :|

Like the instructions requiring you to use a US zip code? ;)

I signed up using Facebook and had no trouble accessing the US stuff. I believe I unlinked the account before entering the Unblock Us dns settings though, which is a simple procedure from the UK site. After that it really is as simple as entering the DNS settings and logging in. Personally I use my ISP's DNS settings for my PC, and Unblock Us for the consoles and iPad. That way you can easily get to the UK site for account management gubbins.

Just cancel your account. They'll either offer you a really good deal before they let you cancel, or after you cancel you'll get emails from them with '3 months for the price of 1' and such to try and get you back.

My PS3 suddenly wont connect to US Netflix through Unblock US :?
I just get "Unable to connect to Netflix".

Take out the DNS settings and the UK one works fine though.

US one works fine on my PC through Unblock US too....weird.

Get that a couple of times on my iPad. Sometimes their server crashed and need to be rebooted. It doesnt affect my gf's pc too.
