Luke and Leia didn't know about being siblings, but if you look closely at their expressions when they kiss, you can see a hint of doubt and WTF in both their eyes. That is the force giving them a warning.

Ewoks are the perfect denizens of a forest plant. I agree they took it too far with the whole tribal celebration at the end, but being primitive forest dwellers, it's obvious they have strong spiritual beliefs and are a bit crazy. As for their winning the Endor battle, Lucas wanted to give out the message that grassroots spiritualism is stronger than soul-less machine-like empires. Life and love conquer everything, just like in Avatar.

The Ewoks were willing to EAT sentient beings before they thought a robot was a god. strawberry floating savages. Also, Caravan of Courage. :|

That machete viewing sequence seems pretty cool. Might try that. Also how does one acquire the Harmy versions?

If you google "harmy torrent" you should find a link for them. Pretty sure that's what I searched to find them, anyway. Really slow download, though :(

i refuse to believe storm troopers, the emperor's finest no less, are brought down by care bears and a handful of strawberry floating rebels.

i've just rewatched the clone wars 1 through 3, sooo good.

The Empire's Finest? Come on, those guys couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. It just goes to show that cloning is an ultimately degenerative process.

I think they stopped the Fett clones, due to racism, and it all went sour grapes from there.

Is it really any less believable than America's finest getting their arses handed to them by Vietnamese commies, or Britain's finest getting being outwitted by a bunch of colonial amateurs and bush-fighters?

Nah I think the real reason is that originally this was a pretty poorly thought out universe.

This thread is great  So many exciting Star Wars opinions and reviews.

It has got me in the mood to watch it tonight, and thus, I shall be. Return of the Jedi on a 55 inch TV? Awesome.

I believe he's pretending that episodes I, II and III never happened, therefore making the original trilogy I, II and III (not IV, V and VI), thus IV, V and VI not existing. He's cocked it up by referring to Star Wars as "A New Hope" though.

If I had referred to it as Star Wars it would have been even more confusing. I mean look how many people didn't get it like that already.

thats the problem with the movies. the imperial navy and army are much better represented in the books than the actual movies.

to be fair, blasters are random according to obi wan.

again its another reason why empire is the best, and why the clone wars is great, we actually see clones/storm troopers being awesome.

and yeah they are the empires finest, the 501st are stationed on Endor IIRC, Rex's lot.

i got myself a sideshow clone sgt a fortnight ago, tis lush.

Watching the Phantom Edit with the commentary on right now. It's pretty good stuff to be honest, and is teaching me loads about good editing. It's amazing how much it improves the film.

Also got the de-specialised editions on the download. Looking forward to watching them.

But they've been Episodes IV, V and VI since after Empire. :?
