Really beginning to lose the will to continue watching. I think the only reason I'm still onboard is the hope that there'll be a genocide of nearly all the cast before the season finishes. Lori has to be one of the most unlikable characters ever in a TV show so much so that any scene which could have been enjoyable is immediately ruined by her presence.
No, which is odd because I quite enjoyed the last week's.
Not sure why I'm so much more critical of it only a week later, I suppose I'm just fed up with it moving so slowly. I don't mind slow moving shows but when the half of the cast are boring, annoying or unlikable and the so much of the dialogue falls flat, there isn't much left to latch onto.
Yeah, good tension in places and further unravelling of Shane. I expect it all to come to a head in the next episode.
Dale looked scared yet again and Ted did nothing all episode. Nice to see Hershel manning up but he should have put a bullet in Randall. The bit in the bar was a bit odd the way it played out. All in all a good episode.
A major role has been cast for season 3, a major role. Anyone who's read a fair bit of the comic can probably guess who I mean before they even open the spoiler box.
Quote:
David Morrissey has signed on to star in the third season of AMC's The Walking Dead.
Morrissey will play a character known as The Governor, the leader of a group of survivors in a new settlement in Woodbury.
The fan-favourite character is known in the comics for his ruthless and sadistic nature, and will be a major villain in upcoming episodes.
Morrissey is set to be a regular for the next season of The Walking Dead.
True Blood actress Rutina Weasley has been rumoured to also be joining the cast of the zombie drama as Michonne.
Meanwhile, the comic on which the zombie drama is based releases its 94th issue next week.
Comic creator Robert Kirkman recently dismissed a lawsuit from his former Walking Dead collaborator, who worked on the first six issues of the comic.

David Morrisey .Tara from True Blood though? Do not want, Michonne deserves better.
Well that's me done with the show then. What appalling casting, he looks nothing like him! Not even close. And as for the other rumoured one, no strawberry floating way am I putting up with her in a show again. Nope, done with this show now after how awful it's become. Not even close to how good the comics are and I don't trust the show to do this particular storyline well either. Probably won't even go through with that hand related scene considering Kirkman says how much he regrets it now.
The Governor could never be done justice in the show I think. It just doesn't have the correct tone to get into what the comic does. Jesus the comic is so good, why can't this be like that.
And Tara as Michonne. Get the strawberry floating strawberry float out. If that happens I'm never watching this again.
I remember reading that bit with the Governor. The whole arc just has your strawberry floating heart in your throat. You can never guess what's going to happen next, tense strawberry floating stuff.
The whole prison/woodbury thing could easily fill a season. I bet they manage to strawberry float it up. Anyone got a pic of the bird whose gonna play Michonne?

The fact the Governor is (to me) like south american looking and Che Guevara/Machete-esque, so they go pick a white british guy. He's not even close. This is even before we get to the point of how shite an actor he is. Not that the show was ever going to do him justice, like smurphy said the whole tone is just totally different. It's more of a drama with a shite cast that happens to be during a zombie Apocalypse than a bleak end of the world strawberry floated up world the comics is. The closest the show has come to the extreme violence of the comics is the shoot out of the barn, which even then was nothing like what happened in the comic.
Comic nerds hating on its tv/film equivalent! How original. Lots of us never read the comics and I love this show. As do many others judging by the viewing figures.
