Has anyone got either Android 2.3.5 or HTC Sense 3.5 updates?

I'm asking because my Sensation is still on 2.3.5 and Sense 3, whereas the missus got a new XL model and it came with the above installed. I've checked for updates and it shows nothing. We're both on Vodafone.

My Sensation is still on Android 2.3.4 and Sense 3 with no updates available. Mine is a sim free version on 3. I have a feeling that they aren't issuing the latest update and the next one available will be when Android 4 goes live for it sometime before the end of March. I'm guessing Sense 3.5 will be made available at the same time.

Anyone got a Transformer Prime yet? It's the first Android tablet I've been seriously considering, partly because of the fact that it's a quad core and will therefore hopefully not lag as much as some of the other Android tabs, and mostly because of the fact that it comes bundled with a keyboard dock.

I'm planning on getting one after the my wedding in March. I'm selling my original Asus Transformer to help fund it.

It's all about Ice Cream Sandwich.

It's superb, not least because I don't need to resort to a third party launcher to get all the features I want.

As for MIUI, I tried a couple of ROMs a while ago, and as nice as it looks I couldn't get on with it. Why take away the app drawer for a start? :x

Broken image Mogster.

ADW launcher is fine if you get rid of the unnecessary dots at the top and have a background that doesn't stick out too much.

Really the best thing about cyanogen is the stability, never got uptime like this on the stock samsung rom. Would always randomly crash and I'd have to remove the battery.

Well like I put in my edit I'm favouring stability over style for now.

The only reason I want an app drawer is so my launcher isn't full of crap. To that end, I've just chucked what I don't want into folders.

Fast, looks great (my main problem with cyanogen is it takes about 43 weeks to set up how I like it), and has all the features I need. I heart MIUI.

A lot of people love MIUI, it's just not for me. Part of the problem was that at the time I had a silly amount of apps, and I'd chucked them all on with Titanium Backup without thinking. That was fun to try and organize!

Another day, another 'Apple sues Android' lawsuit. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/ ... Z120120213

I thought it was quite interesting that they're suing Samsung for the Galaxy Nexus given that it's running pure Android 4.0. Voice command search has been in my Nexus S since launch in December 2010, long before Siri. That's a ridiculous claim for patent infringement. I can't understand how something as utterly basic as "unlocking phones by sliding an image" could count either.

Comes across as Apple being afraid of Sirious competition. Android is so clearly different from iOS, especially 4.0, hopefully Apple will lose.

I mean how to chose only some of the songs that you have downloaded to your phone. In my player I can make a playlist only if I add ALL recently added songs.

Winamp lets you make playlists of selected songs https://market.android.com/details?id=c ... oft.winamp

Nothing. Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) is the latest version of Android. Honeycomb was the first tablet optimised version, but didn't support phones. ICS supports both, and comes with a bunch of nifty improvements. Not least the widgets!

Looks quite cool.

Let's Golf 3 has what is possibly the most evil business model ever.

Flick Golf is great. The crowd that make it have a bunch of other 'Flick' games, too. Soccer is a good one also, but it's basically a free-kick game, you don't play the game, just take shots, but the controls are perfect.

It's called Flick-Kick Football on Android. Good game.

Question - is there an equivalent of Kies Air on iPhone?
