Sometimes it's limited editions, other times, it really is just that pricey. I seem to recall (or imagining) that sometimes the pricing over here is due in part to the distributor from Japan saying that they have to be released/priced that way. Bandai? I think are pretty bad for it?

Reasonabley priced complete boxsets are the way forward.

Or just keep yarring the blu rays which never get released over here. (Where is my Mushishi blu ray?!)

I've just started reading "It's not my fault I'm not popular!" (along with a certain 9 page manga :shifty: ) and I have to say that so far it's pretty funny, and I'm only on the second chapter!

This facial expression alone made me do a proper laugh :lol:

I love this bit from the OVA.



Also, the true ending in the game is so good. It's different from the anime so they're both good in their own merits, but the games true end has blown me away. The usage of the OP music in the game was so good. Also the scene after he fails was incredible.

Operation Skuld? El Psy Congroo? 33 year old me still talks like that? 8-)

Must confess I've given up on MGX. Until the authour moves away from the stupid "all the girls dig the gooseberry fool out of Tsubaki", it's not really going to go anywhere amazing.

TWGOK though. :wub:

Also, personal anime update! After a fairly solid recomendation, I tried Daily Lives of Highschool Boys. Rather than being a yaoi based quivalent of K-On I was fearing, it's actually got some pretty good humour. First couple of episodes are fairly weak and drag a couple of jokes out for a bit too long but there are some amazing moments later on.

Last night I finished Steins;Gate (game) 100%, saw the final CG and also the extra CG you unlock for completing everything. That was such an awesome ride, took me about 62 hours over the past three months or so to finish it and see all the endings. That final CG is so good. Infact, the entire final scene of the True End is just fantastic. Propelled into one of my favourite games of all time. Can't wait for April! :wub:
