Seeing him go to Ferrari in plenty of time for the 2026 regs would be very interesting, especially with Hamilton also heading that way.

But I would kind of like to see him at Aston. If only to see what Alonso could do in a top of the field car.

Everyone is going to be after him, assuming he doesn't just retire.

It's also a big change at the top of RB and it can't be helping Verstappens desire to keep the narrative around the car instead of the "unpleasantness".

It’d not surprise me if he was retiring (maybe another form of Motorsport before he hangs it up for good?) from F1, while it’d be a lovely story to see him go to Ferrari and produce a WDC/WCC car, you then have to look at even when Red Bull got a good engine behind them in 2019, it still took them a few more years to put together the complete package again, what’s to say Ferrari isn’t the same? What if Red Bull insists on a year of gardening leave?

I would love for him to go and create an absolute monster, then retire once he’s got yet another team the championships

I suppose the lure of Ferrari would be to have him design a road car. I think that kind of thing excites him more than racing cars now.

Hasn’t be implied he’s not a fan of the 2026 regs as well?

I guess this is why Toto thinks Max is on the market.

Indeed, or certainly for 2026 anyway, Russell would get battered by Verstappen

Has to Aston or Ferrari really.

It would mess up Aston's structure but Newey and Alonso, sticking with Honda, seems like a nice fit. Can also make a road Aston Martin.
Ferrari and Hamilton is another enticing prospect, but moving to Italy? Again, can make a road Ferrari.

Mercedes probably have the best gap to fill in the technical department but I don't know if it is as attractive driver-wise or Road Car wise.

Red Bull will make it as difficult as possible to let him exit in a reasonable timeframe.

Who the hell do you put in the other car to make this happen? I think Sargent is the only person in the current field he'd have the measure of.

That would brilliant.

As long as they ditch Stroll. Get a decent driver.

Newey saying he’ll leave RB due to the Horner allegations just comes across as looking for a reason to leave, that or there is still something about Horner that we haven’t heard yet.

Could be more stuff is about to come out and whatever it is was the final straw for him.

Wrote this last season when he started popping up in prominent seating/standing positions for shots of the RB team.

Hulk leaving Haas at the end of this season, not sure if it’s been confirmed but it’s rumoured to be to Sauber, to be Audi’s first confirmed F1 driver for when they arrive in 2026.

Watch it being Aston but Newey at Ferrari feels like Lewis' best chance of an "8th" championship and would be extremely funny.

Yeah it's confirmed I think.

Are we expecting Magnusson to stay at Haas? Potentially paired with Bearman?
I would also assume that neither Bottas nor Zhou are secure in that other Sauber/Audi, though of the two I think Bottas is more likely to keep his seat.

I get that Hulkenberg is a safe reliable driver with experience but if money isn't a concern surely the driver you'd want to be making your Big headliner is Sainz right?.
