God, this is really irritating me. For all the years I've had Firefox, I always like to have it so I log in to the forum, Facebook, emails, etc once and then whenever I open Firefox again, I automatically log into the sites when I go on them again. I've just been playing around with the options in Firefox though and now it's stopped doing that.

Every single time I come out of Firefox now, I have to login to everything all over again and it's really annoying. I just want to stay logged in so I'm not forever trying to remember passwords.

I've been playing around with all the options but nothing seems to fix it. Please can someone tell me what settings I need to use or what I've done to cause this? It's really, really annoying me because nothing I do seems to do anything at all.

Firefox will:

Use custom settings for history

Make sure "Always use private browsing mode" is unchecked

Make sure "Accept cookies from sites" is checked

Make sure the "Exceptions" menu contains no exceptions that would block sites from setting cookies

Make sure "Accept third-party cookies" is checked"

Keep until: they expire

Make sure "Clear history when Firefox closes" is unchecked OR it is checked but the "Settings" button next to it has "Cookies" and "Active Logins" unchecked
