Recently Firefox started to crash (been using Firefox for ages with no problems), so I downloaded Chrome and all was well. Now about a week later, when viewing forums and other sites in Chrome (this one included) they appear with all the characters randomly changed and unreadable.

Any ideas/ solutions for this?

Currently resorted back to using Safari, which isn't great.

I've heard the crashing issues was due to a dodgy Flash update. Certainly my Chrome is noticeably unstable at the moment.
