Sin Gold Crashes on new PC
So I upgraded my PC recently. Got myself a AMD Phenom II on an Asrock Motherboard. I now have 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an Nvidea 550 Ti Graphics card with 1GB of Video memory.

I tried loading up my old copy of Sin which worked on my older PC (AMD Athlon 64, 2 GB of DDR2 ram and an Nvidia Geforce 6600). On both computers I used XP 32 with SP3 as my OS.

Why won't the game work anymore?

God knows. It's a Quake 2 base though. Might be worth scouting around and seeing if the modern Quake 2 rebuilds support Sin
