Hey guys,
basically I want to watch a couple of MTV TV shows that aren't particularly well known and after a lot of scouring, the only place I can find to watch them is on the MTV website but this requires you to be in the USA to watch them. Using proxy anonymous websites doesn't seem to work... is there any other way I can convince the MTV website that I'm in the USA and not the UK?

I cant seem to find free ones that work but there are a number of paid Proxy / VPN solutions

I see no reason why if this works with the Daily Show it shouldn't with MTV.
