Ya welcome to join the forums and write some review, we need all the help we can get :D

I may just do that, although my memory is pretty limited if you want detailed reviews. Good idea for a website though, i shall join it!

Kinda depends on the games, NiGHTS and PDS deserved big review's, my Sonic Jam one was ALOT smaller though.

I'm trying to cover the rest of the first party games missing from the list, any third party games you can think of that haven't already been reviewed would be great.

Panzer Dragoon Saga is one game I have always wanted to play, but I guess its now too expensive to source a copy along with a working Sega Saturn. I do hope Sega get a proper emulator working for the Sega Saturn so that their games can be ported to one of the current gen consoles. A remake would ofcourse be totally out of the question because of cost/ resources.

Another totally off topic thought I had about another (almost) sega saturn game is Shenmue, imagine if it got a release, would it have bombed even more? Probably.

SEGA lost the original source code for PDS. Shenmue would've been shite on Saturn too.

No idea, but this was years ago when it came out so i imagine it was the first iteration. A few years later i bought a second hand one from cex. Sadly that was sold a year or so later. Tbh i cannot say i regret it as the playstation was better. I am glad i chose sega instead of sony the first time around. Funnily enough history repeated itself when i got the dreamcast rather than waiting for a ps2. I guess in a way as the xbox 360 was like a sega console in spirit, at least, history repeated itself once again. As always though i always gave in to sonys promises!

PlayStation console launches always have a meh launch line up and take years for the real games to start coming. Where as SEGA seemed to peak only months after launch (Virtua Fighter 2 and Sega Rally on Saturn, Soul Calibur on Dreamcast).

Kind of true, but the original PlayStation had a decent first few months.

As for the Saturn I seriously doubt I will be reinvesting into it now. Although the total cost would not be too high I am worried I will be completely off put by the inferior visuals. I find it awfully difficult playing PS1 games on the PS3 and prefer to play them on the PSP and as the Saturn does not have such an option I would have to play it on the HDTV, which is frightening!

I guess I should leave the past in the past and keep those fond memories rather than taint them by going back to it.

Hmm, apart from WipEout, Tekken and Ridge Racer, PlayStation's late 95 and early 96 lineup was total shite compared to the Saturn.

Saturn looks great on my 32" HDTV, though if you have a new TV bought only this year chances are it won't have a SCART socket.

I bought it this year and it has 2 scart sockets, so I am okay with that, but even the PS1 games with full smoothing look a mess on the HDTV, which is a Panasonic, so its not a gooseberry fool tv imo.

Jaggies are the price you pay for nostalgia. More forgiving on a much loved retro console than a £170 Wii.

I have to live with jaggies, i only have a ps3 and wii (for now).

I guess you are right, but i am a bit of a graphics whore and it pisses me off how much smoother 360 multiplatform games look, which is why i keep going back and forth!

Didn't you find any working emulators on segasaturn.co.uk?
